About
A Video Partner, Not Just a Camera
I’m Mark Spraker, a video producer based in the New River Valley of Virginia. For the past eight years, I’ve helped business, nonprofits, and organizations use video to communicate more clearly.
I got into video because I enjoy the craft of production, but I’ve come to appreciate that the lights and camera are only a part of the job. A technically impressive video isn’t particularly useful if the audience doesn’t understand what it’s trying to say.
That’s why I approach each project by understanding the goal, the audience, and where the video will be used. All three are important factors that help inform what actually needs to be said.
A Range of Experience
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with all kinds of people and organizations…No two projects have been quite the same.
From the mom-and-pop shop down the street to established institutions like Radford University and Virginia Tech. I’ve worked with businesses, nonprofits, creative professionals, and organizations of all sizes.
That’s one of the things I enjoy most about this work. Whether I’m capturing visual content for social media or producing more than a dozen specialized videos for educational courses, I approach every project with the same level of care and respect for the craft.
I’m happiest behind a camera, helping people turn ideas into something people can actually see.
